Faith in Islam

 Only One God
In Islam, there is only one God Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and  Allah (S.W.T) The Supreme, The Merciful and Compassionate, The Creator and Provider. God has no father or mother, no son or daughter there is none like Him.He is God of all humankind, not of a special tribe or race.

 The Books of God
Muslims must believe in all Revelations sent by God to His Prophets that is the Torah to Moses (A.S), the Scrolls of Abraham (A.S), the Gospel to Jesus (A.S), the Psalms of David (A.S) and the Qur'an to Muhammad (S.A.W).

 God's Angels
Angels  are purely spiritual and splendid beings that require no food or drink or sleep. They have no physical desires or material needs., created by God to fulfill His commands and worship Him tirelessly. Muslims believe in all the angels for instance the Angel Gabriel who brought the Qur'an to Muhammad,Each Angel is charged with a certain duty. Angels cannot be seen by the naked eyes

 The Prophets of God
A Muslim believes in all the Messengers and Prophets of God without any discrimination. All messengers were mortals, human beings, endowed with Divine revelations and appointed by God to teach mankind. The Holy Quran mentions the names of 25 messengers and prophets and states that there are others. The key message brought by all Prophets was the same: to believe in One God and not to associate partners with Him, to stay away from sins and to lead a life devoted to earning God’s pleasure.

 Day of Judgment
The Day of Judgement and the Hereafter are essential beliefs in Islam. Life on earth is just temporary while life in the Hereafter is forever and will never end. Those who have done good deeds and obeyed Allah (S.W.T) while living on Earth will be rewarded Paradise but those who did  otherwise will be punished in Hell accordingly.

 Predestination
This is derived from the Arabic phrase "Al-Qada' Wa Al-Qadar" which means "Divine Decree and Predestination". God has measured and planned out everything that happened, is happening, and will happen. Humans should think, plan and make sound choices and then put their trust in God. If things happen as they want they should praise God. If things do not happen as they want they should still praise God, recognizing that He knows best what is good for affairs of mankind.
