Dua of the Day

Dua from Quran

Hadith of the Day.............

It is reported that someone asked Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), “O Nabi of Allah, if one adopts the recital of the Durood Shareef daily, how then will it be?” Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu wasallam) replied, “If you do this, then enough for you is Allah in the affairs of this world and the next”. (In other words, the person will have no need to run to anybody and all his affairs will be completed with ease). (Al Qolul Badi)

Jannat The Glouries place

The literal meaning of Jannah’ is a green garden, whetther in the earth or the heavens. According to the religious interpretation, it is a place which Allah has created for the believers (mo’meneen) and His virtuous slaves, in which they shall dwell forever.

Our final destination is the life of the Hereafter Where we end up, Jannah (Paradise) or Jahannam (Hell-fire) depends on what we worked towards in this life. Paradise is the aim and the hope of every Muslim. There are many levels of Paradise depending on how righteous a person is on Earth.,the highest level that all Muslims are encouraged to ask for is Jannatul Firdaus.

“It is prepared for those who guard against evil”. (Surah-al-Aale Imraan: 132)
“And the garden shall be poughtnear for those who guard (against evil)”.(Surah-ash-Shur’ara? 90)

Anas narrated that Rasool Allah said, “When you pass by gardens of paradise, eat fruits of them. The Sahaba said, “What are the gardens of Paradise?” He said, “The gatherings of Zikr.” (Tirmizi)

Jannat is a very large and very beautiful place. It has been made by Allah Ta'ala for Muslims. The ground is made of saffron and ambergris (a wax-like substance) instead of gravel, there are huge mansions made of pearls, diamonds and beautiful jewellery to house the residents of Jannat. There are 100 ranks in Jannat. Each rank is as large in breadth as the sky to the ground.
Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said that the inmates of Paradise would eat therein and they would also drink, but they would neither void excrement, nor suffer catarrh, nor pass water, and their eating (would be digested) in the form of belching and their sweat would be musk aged they would glorify and praise Allaah as easily ai you breathe.

It is beyond the capacity of the people of this world to have a comprehension of the bliss of Paradise. Only a pief belief in it’s existence is sufficient, and one should not go into details as to where it is or how it is. It can be compared to a child in a mother’s womb who is not aware of the outside world.

Patience (Sabar)

Patience is the Islamic virtue of “patience” or “endurance”. Sabr is characterized as being one of the two parts of faith the other being shukr. Patience is the first weapon for the believer to use when facing hardship.Panic and impatience cannot prevent Allah’s Decree. Complaining is contradictory to patience.Allah alone can protect you from harm and ease your difficulties.
"Allah surely loves those who are the Sabireen (patient).” (3:146)AL-Quran

The Prophet’s Hadiths on patience
"What I have forbidden to you, avoid; what I have ordered you,do as much of it as you can. It was only their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their  prophets that destroyed those who were before you."
Bukhari and Muslim

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “There are three types of patience: Firstly, practicing patience to fulfill the obligations and to do righteous. Secondly, abstaining from evil and prohibited acts. And thirdly, practicing patience during times of hardship without complaints.”
O Allah, make us from those who have patience upon hardships and those who are thankful upon Your blessings.

Allah the Almighty says in Quran

"By the passage of time, all of the humankind are in a state of great loss, except for those who come to the correct belief and do the deeds of righteousness; and encourage and exhort one another to Truth and encourage and exhort one another to steadfast patience."

Hadith of the Day

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (choicest blessings and peace be upon him) said,
“None of you should wish for death because of a calamity befalling him; but if he has to
wish for death, he should say:

“O Allah! Keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and let me die if death is better for me. ”

Dhikar e Allah

Dhikr of Allah is the most excellent act of Allah's servants and is stressed over a hundred times in the Holy Qur'an. It is the most praiseworthy work to earn Allah's pleasure, the most effective weapon to overcome the enemy, and the most deserving of deeds in reward.

The People of Paradise will only regret one thing: not having made enough dhikr in the world! Are not those who are making up reasons to discourage others from making dhikr afraid of Allah in this tremendous matter

“Believers, remember Allah often and glorify Him morning and evening.”41-42 of Surah Al-Ahzaa

Abudullah Bin Bisr narrated that one person asked, “Ya Rasool Allah! There are many commands on me of Islam. Tell me of such a thing which I may hold on to steadfast. Rasool Allah replied, “Always keep your tongue wet from dhikr of Allah.” (Tirmizi)

  •      Dhikr make the Shaitan flee and breaks his power of temptation.
  •      Dhikr is the best source to seek Allah’s pleasure.
  •      Dhikr creates and intensifies the love of Allah in the heart.
  •      Dhikr washes out the sins.
  •      Dhikr saves from the punishment of Allah.

"According to one tradition of Prophet(SAW) there is no other act but dhikar which saves from Allah's punishment."

It includes recitations of the Holy Qur’an, Kalima-e-Tayyeba, Astaghfaar, and Darud Shareef. Think of Salah. It is all dhikr.  Surah Al-Fatiha, the recitation of other verses from the Holy Qur’an, and the asbeehaat in Ruku and Sajdah are dhikr.

Our Parents

“And do good to your parents. If either of them or both of them reach old age with thee, say not to them, fie: nor chide them: and speak to them a generous word. And make thyself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say, My Lord! Have mercy on them as they brought me up when I was little”
“Al Qur’an – 17:23, 24″

LOVE ALLAH

Hazrat Umar(RA) said:

"I looked at all friends, and did not find a better friend than safeguarding the tongue. I thought about all dresses, but did not find a better dress than piety. I thought about all types of wealth, but did not find a better wealth than contentment in little. I thought of all types of good deeds, but did not find a better deed than offering good advice. I looked at all types of sustenance, but did not find a better sustenance than patience."

Anger in Islam and life

Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion. But when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems - problems at work, in your personal relationships and in the overall quality of your life. And it can make you feel as though you are at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful emotion.

The Qurān says: “..Should anyone aggress against you, assail him in the manner he assailed you.”1 One is unable to oppress the oppressor to a higher degree of oppression than he was oppressed himself. If one swears twice responding to one swear, he has crossed the limits.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "No one has swallowed anything more excellent in the sight of God...than the anger he restrains, seeking to please God most high." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1324

In a state of anger there are many sins that commits , insulting and harming a fellow believer; polluting the tongue with speaking impermissible things, and many other sins. In addition, sometimes a person performs such a sin that he is not able to control himself, or due to his anger, performs something that he would never be able to compensate for during the course of his entire life!

Imam Ja’far b. Muhammad as-Sadiq (as): “Anger is the key to all evil.”

In a state of anger the person should leave that area where he is, in order to control his emotions, if he has become upset while inside his house, then he should step outside. It has even been stated that if a person is standing then he should sit down or if he is sitting down then he should stand up or even drink some water to change his mood and control himself!

Human Rights in Islam

Islam presents a complete code of life and it covers all spheres of Life its not sympathetic only for Human being but it preaches for kindness toward animals as well. Islam is the first religion ever addresses the nobility and dignity of Human being and call Human being the best creation.

Islam declares all people equal in terms of human values, and all individuals are equal before the Islamic code of law.  Its judgments and legal penalties are applicable to all races and classes of people without any distinction, and without any person, group or nation acquiring immunity or privilege.

Every human being is entitled to his integrity, honor and reputation during his life and after his death.Islam condemns the abuse of power, position and authority and commands people to assist an oppressed person even with the use of force when necessary.  Every individual in an Islamic society, regardless of his faith or religious affiliation, position or social status, has certain immutable rights, which include:

•    The right to be consulted on issues that concern their economic and social affairs
•    The right to be considered innocent unless proven guilty
•    The right to seek judgment against oppressors and to have an equal hearing before the judge

Islam has recognized the right of the needy people for help and assistance to be provided to them. In the Holy Quran from the English translation of the "Kanzul Iman", it states:

"And in their wealth there was the right of the beggars and the  unfortunate." (51:19)

A woman belonging to a high and noble family was arrested in connection with theft. The case was brought to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon HIM), And it was recommended that she might be spared the punishment of theft. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon HIM) replied:

"The nations that lived before you were destroyed by Allah because they punished the common man for their offenses and let their dignitaries go unpunished for their crimes; I swear by Him Who holds my life in His hand that even if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad, had committed this crime, I would have amputated her hand."

Lastly, it is to be made clear that Islam tries to achieve the above mentioned human rights and many others not only by providing certain legal safeguards but mainly by inviting mankind to transcend the lower level of animal life to be able to go beyond the mere ties fostered by the kinship of blood,
