Patience (Sabar)

Patience is the Islamic virtue of “patience” or “endurance”. Sabr is characterized as being one of the two parts of faith the other being shukr. Patience is the first weapon for the believer to use when facing hardship.Panic and impatience cannot prevent Allah’s Decree. Complaining is contradictory to patience.Allah alone can protect you from harm and ease your difficulties.
"Allah surely loves those who are the Sabireen (patient).” (3:146)AL-Quran

The Prophet’s Hadiths on patience
"What I have forbidden to you, avoid; what I have ordered you,do as much of it as you can. It was only their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their  prophets that destroyed those who were before you."
Bukhari and Muslim

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “There are three types of patience: Firstly, practicing patience to fulfill the obligations and to do righteous. Secondly, abstaining from evil and prohibited acts. And thirdly, practicing patience during times of hardship without complaints.”
O Allah, make us from those who have patience upon hardships and those who are thankful upon Your blessings.
